We also support a local school in this area called Karicheni Primary School. Its a very poor school that needs a lot of basic facilities, like School uniforms, shoes, socks, Sweaters, desks and better classrooms since the ones they have right now are falling apart.

THE TEN THOUSAND MILE HAND-MADE SANDALS

Pati Pati Imports llc, is a company that specializes in distinctive hand-made footwear. Their original name Maasai sandals came from the Maasai people in East Africa. They are nomadic pastrolists and are known for their love of animals, color and also resourcefulness.

The leather of our sandals comes from the Maasai cows and the beads are also called the Maasai beads, hence the name Maasai sandals.

The bottom of the sandals are made from recycled Tire and rubber and that’s why they are now called the Ten thousand mile sandals. They are also very comfortable, not to mention durable.

10% of our total proceeds go back to helping the villages in the area that our materials come from. We also support a local school and are now in the process of raising funds to help them build more permanent classrooms.

All Sandals  in adult sizes are 39.00 usd and all the kids sizes are 30 usd.
